Hundreds of motorists have had to be rescued from snowbound roads as blizzards brought chaos.
As many as 150 cars, as well as a bus containing 45 pensioners, were stranded in freezing conditions on the impassable A66 between Durham and Cumbria.

Perhaps it's true that "media coverage can degrade a country's image", although many would argue that Israel gets more than favourable coverage in most of the West's media.

But perhaps of greater damage to Israel’s image is its illegal occupation of Palestinian territory and its repression of the Palestinian people. Ethnic cleansing; state sponsored murder; shooting children who throw stones; wars of aggression; collective punishment of entire populations; demolishing houses of people convicted of no crime; ethnically based apartheid policies and laws; land grabs … none of these assist Israel gain a positive image.

And if the best you can do to ‘show up’ Britain is point out that it snows here and many teenagers are dreadful, then you’re doing a terrific job in highlighting the gulf which exists between normal states which possess a moral compass and the rogue nation which Israel has become.
